The Tara Iti is a brand new control driver from RPM Discs. At speed 10 and a fade of 2, the Tara Iti fills a perfect slot in the RPM lineup - faster and more stable than the Pekapeka, not as beefy as the Kiwi, more control than the Kahu/Kotare.
The Tara Iti is well suited to forehand and backhand. Intermediate players will find this pushes longer and straighter than other overstable fairway drivers, while advanced players will enjoy cranking on the Tara Iti and observing it fight out at the very end of its flight. Word has it RPM's Levi Stout and WIN.O's Jay Watkinson threw a few 130m+ test flight bombs with the Tara Iti in Taupo - these discs crush!
The Tara Iti comes in 5 plastic variants:
- Strata: Grippy, baseline plastic - the most understable of RPM's plastics.
- Atomic: Opaque swirly plastic - medium firmness, similar to Innova Star plastic.
- Cosmic: Transparent, firm, slightly gummy and durable - similar to Innova Champion plastic.
- Glow: Glow in the dark plastic - firm and smooth feel in the hand.
